Personal Preference: A Tastemakers Guide

Pet Brands That are Doing Social Media Right

Welcome to the first installment of what I’m calling: Personal Preference, a Tastemakers Guide.

What is this and who is this for?

I LOVE a curated list. The more niche the better. And in this case, I wanted to share my personal knowledge of brands that I know and trust. That not only have a great product, but also exemplify good branding practices. Will this be the case every time, maybe not, but I wanted to share with you what stands out to me.

Because everything I’ve been seeing lately, is sooo boring. I see the same old song and dance from brands, big and small. So, if you’re an entrepreneur, service provider, or have a great product, but are having a tough time standing out, I hope some of these brands will inspire you.

I’m still crafting this new little series, so bare with me. And feel free to reply with your thoughts and questions!

And as you’ll see, I want this to be a short and sweet list. So here goes.

Little Chonk comes from one of the most beloved corgi's on the internet, Maxine. Her dad started out recording her interactions with strangers while she was in being carried in his backpack on his commutes in New York. Little Chonk stands out as a leader in the influencer pet community by skillfully blending style with functionality in their pet. I love that their message is all about going on adventures and exploring the world with your pup. We all want to spend as much time with our furry children and they give us that feeling. By consistently engaging with their community, Little Chonk has established a strong online presence, making them the go-to brand for pet parents seeking a product that combine their sense of adventure with practicality. With glowing reviews and a growing fan base, Little Chonk is undoubtedly setting the standard for pet brands in the influencer sphere.

Little Beast has carved a niche for itself in the market, offering an array of pet products that are both trendy and high-quality. They’ve hit the sweet spot by extending beyond the pet world, specifically with fashion brands that are incredibly popular with Millennials and Gen Z. The strategy? Know your customer so well, that you know where they shop. Little Beast's ability to merge different brand aesthetics and values into a cohesive product lineup cements them as a leader within the pet industry. Their next collab is with Disney, to celebrate their 100th anniversary. The perfect pairing, trendy nostalgic pieces for your pet.
